About course
11004NAT Course in Identification and Awareness of Asbestos Containing Materials is a nationally accredited course. Training is delivered face-to-face over 4 hours. The purpose of this course is to raise awareness among all workers in the commercial construction industry about the risk of asbestos containing materials present in buildings and in new imported building products and materials. At the end of this course you will be able to:
- identify and discuss the legal requirements for safely managing and controlling asbestos containing materials in the construction industry
- assess buildings and products for the risk of asbestos containing materials
- work and Exposure
- identify information and reporting processes when asbestos is identified or suspected
- identify incident response procedures when asbestos is identified or suspected
